Domain verification on Meta secures web presence by ensuring only authorized parties can manage content under your domain. Once verified, it can access advanced features, improved ad performance, and enhanced security.


To create custom audiences on Meta, it's essential to complete the domain verification process.


You need to confirm whether you are  live with Shopalyst custom domain or a brand subdomain based on requirements. For creating a custom domain on landing pages, the request needs to be raised to the support team with the following details:

  • Brand name
  • Required custom Path

For continuing with a subdomain. Verify the domain in the meta business setting click here to learn more. Once it's verified, the details need to be shared with us to get the domain added to the landing pages.


Once the domain verification is done, it needs to ensure the meta pixel is active


1. Go to  Audience in the Meta platform


2. Click Create Audience drop-down menu and select Custom Audience.


3. Select Website and then click Next.


4. Under website custom audiences there will be:


Source- It shows an active meta pixel set for the campaign


Event- On the dropdown menu you have to select 'people who have visited specific webpages'. You have to add values from the sl_traits that are shown on the Shopalyst landing page.


4. Set a rule section. (You have to start with an inclusive one.) There are standard rules and pixel event rules. Add rules to the section as desired.

  1. 6. Add the audience name and description, if desired
  2. 7. Click Create audience.

How to create custom audiences in Google ads


1. In your Google Ads account, click the Tools icon.


2. From the section menu, click the shared library dropdown.


3. Select Audience Manager.


4. Click on custom segments and then click on the plus sign


5. Add the segment name under the custom segment screen


6. Select any option- People with any of these interests or purchase intentions or People who searched for any of these terms on Google


6. Add the interest and people who browse websites similar to them and Save it
