We are excited to introduce Campaign Optimisation Rules as a new feature to our product. This feature represents a significant enhancement in how optimisation logic is managed and applied to your campaigns, offering more flexibility and transparency.


Key Highlights

  • Overview: The optimisation logic or algorithm can now be represented as a set of rules, replacing the previous approach where the algorithm was hardcoded in the product backend.
  • Initial Rollout: In the first iteration, we are supporting the display of these rules on the Optimisation Request Creation page and the View Request page. Support for editing the rules will be introduced in a future update.
  • Default Configuration: The rules will be pre-configured for every optimization request, adhering to the existing optimisation logic. Currently, these rules are view-only and cannot be edited. 


Benefits

  • Transparency: You can now view the specific rules that govern the optimisation of your campaigns, providing greater insight into how campaigns are optimised.
  • Consistency: The rules are pre-configured to follow the existing optimisation logic, ensuring that your campaigns continue to be optimised according to proven methodologies.
  • Future Flexibility: Although rule editing is not available in this initial release, this feature lays the groundwork for more customisable optimisation logic in future updates.



Getting Started

  • Navigate to the Campaign Optimisation page and create a new request.
  • On the Request Creation page, you will see all the pre-configured rules associated with your request.
  • Click on the View button to see the detailed definition of each rule.
