Your product video is just a few clicks away! Follow this guide to create and use AI-generated videos directly inside your Shopify store using the Video Genie app.


Step 1: Open the Video Genie App

Once the app that is installed in your Shopify store you will get see the home page and here click on try now.


You will be navigated to the product listing screen where you can see your products or search for any. Here click on Create Product Video button



Step 2: Customise Your Video

In the screen: The video contains 3 scenes, each spanning 5 seconds, featuring product images with AI-generated text. You can edit background theme and scene text.

  • Provide theme colors – Primary, Secondary, and Text Color.

  • Select scene images and modify text descriptions if needed.

Once everything looks good, click “Save & Generate Video”.




Step 3: Automatic Generation & Upload

When you hit “Save & Generate Video”:

  • A new request is submitted.

  • Our app creates a video based on your inputs.

  • Once completed, the video is automatically uploaded to the product’s Media Library in your Shopify store.

    ⚠ You don’t need to manually upload anything!

Step 4: Track Video Status

Go to the Video Genie app to view the status of all video requests.

You’ll see:

  • ✅ Completed videos – ready and already uploaded to your store. Use the eye icon to preview the video and the download icon to download the video.

  • ❌ Failed attempts – you can try generating again with updated inputs from the products listing screen.

    Tip: Click on the refresh icon to get the latest status of your video requests


    You can click on preview icon and that will redirect to your store product page where video is added and selected automatically.

    Storefront Verification

    View the product page on your live storefront to verify that the video is visible.

    Note: Ensure your Shopify theme supports product videos; otherwise, the generated video may not appear.
