Shopalyst provides the flexibility of standardised naming conventions for campaigns, placements, and ads using dynamic placeholders.
How Placeholders Work
Placeholders are enclosed in curly braces
{}and can include identifiers or parameters to generate meaningful and consistent names.Common placeholder types include:
Line Item IDs
Insertion Order (IO) IDs
Custom identifiers
Campaign parameters
Any other naming variables defined for your account
Setup and Configuration
Naming conventions are established during the initial onboarding process.
The operations team manages all customisation and configuration of placeholder templates to ensure consistency across advertising accounts.
Placeholder Behavior
When data is available: The system automatically replaces the placeholder with the corresponding name or ID value.
When data is unavailable: The placeholder remains visible in the format
{placeholder_name}, indicating which information is missing.
