Overview
We have added support for two new capabilities in Meta campaign creation through media plan uploads, giving advertisers greater control over attribution and retargeting configuration directly from the input sheet.
1. Attribution Model Settings
Attribution models determine which conversions are credited to your ads and are used to inform ad delivery and optimisation.
What’s New
- A new column Attribution Model has been added to the media plan input sheet
- Supported values include:
- 1-day click
- 7-day click
- 1-day click and 1-day view
- 7-day click and 1-day view
- 1-day click and 1-day engaged-view
- 1-day click and 1-day view and 1-day engaged-view
- Incremental
- The selected attribution model will be validated against the chosen campaign objective and optimisation goal to ensure the combination is supported by Meta

2. Product Based Retargeting
You can now configure product-based retargeting for Meta campaigns, enabling ads to reach people who have interacted with your products on or off Facebook.
What’s New
- A new column Product Audience has been added to the input sheet
- Retargeting can be configured using custom interaction rules such as product views or add-to-cart events within a defined lookback window
- Rules must follow the format specified in the Instructions worksheet
- An optional Product Set ID can be provided to scope the audience
Example Values
- Target audience associated with a custom Product Set ID:
916757885136992, 13 days Viewed, 12 days Add to Cart - Target audience associated with the Product Set ID provided in the Product Set Id column:
