The Campaign KPI Prediction feature in Discovery Commerce, available under the Automation section, helps forecast campaign performance even before actual results are available.
Prediction values are updated daily using the campaign’s actual delivery data, allowing the prediction curve to reflect real-time performance and market changes throughout the campaign duration. For example, if a campaign runs from May 1 to May 31, prediction values for future dates will be available immediately after the campaign is published. As the campaign continues to deliver, these future prediction values are automatically refined every day based on the latest campaign performance data.
As soon as the campaign is published, predicted values will be available for key performance metrics such as:
- Impressions
- CPM (Cost per 1,000 impressions)
- Clicks
- CPC (Cost per Click)
These forecasts provide visibility into the campaign’s expected performance trend over time.
Once the campaign starts generating actual delivery data, real performance metrics are displayed alongside the predicted values within a single graph. This helps compare predicted vs. actual performance, identify performance gaps early, and make data-driven optimisation decisions throughout the campaign lifecycle.
You will be notified through an email containing a direct link to the prediction page. Also from the campaign listing page Insights prediction page can be accessed for published campaigns.
Steps
- Navigate to the Automation -> Explore page.
- Click on View Prediction against any campaign from the Actions dropdown.
- View prediction curves for your campaigns
- Find the Prediction Accuracy section to track accuracy improvements over time.

Accuracy Score
The Accuracy Score helps you understand how closely the system’s predictions align with actual campaign performance outcomes, using data from both past and ongoing campaigns. It gives you a quick snapshot of how reliable the predictions are for key metrics like CPM, CPC, and CTR. You can find the Accuracy Score on the Campaign KPI Prediction page, where it appears alongside a graph comparing predicted and actual performance. The feature continuously refines predictions based on actual delivery data, allowing for greater accuracy in the forecasts.
