Shopalyst optimises campaigns running on the Google Ads platform, helping brands enhance performance by analysing key metrics such as clicks, conversions, cost per acquisition, and return on ad spend. Through continuous monitoring and data-driven insights, Shopalyst enables intelligent budget allocation, refined keyword targeting, and bid adjustments to maximise campaign efficiency and achieve the desired marketing objectives.


You can send optimisation updates directly to Google Ads in real time. This helps apply recommendations faster and reduces the need for manual changes in Google Ads. For each optimisation, you can see clear details such as the Entity Type, Entity ID, and previous value. After the update is applied, you will receive a real-time notification confirming the change.


Supported Campaign Types


Due to current Google Ads API limitations, video campaign updates must still be applied using the Optimiser Output File (a Google Ads Editor–compatible CSV). For all other campaign types, such as search, display, and discovery, updates can be pushed directly to Google Ads using the real-time push option.


Follow the steps below to create Google Ads Campaign Optimisation;


Steps


1. Navigate to the Automation module and click on the "Campaign Optimisation" option.


2. Click the "New Definition" button. You can select Google Ads as the platform.


3. Select the campaign optimisation rule, you can view the pre-configured rules associated with your request here. You can visualise your optimisation rules more clearly and You can download a PDF file containing flowchart representations of the rules defined in your optimisation definitions.


4. Add the user's email ID that needs to be notified once the report is generated.


5. Click 'Create Definition' and Click 'Yes Create Request'


6. You will be redirected to 'Create Campaign Optimisation Request' page and request name will automatically added


7. You can directly create the optimisation request by clicking "Create Request".


8. Click the "Create Request" button to proceed. You will be redirected to the Campaign Optimisation screen, where you can monitor the status of your upload. 


9. Once the report is generated  you will receive a notification in the top-right corner of the application, download it to see the output results.



10. For pushing the updates to Google Ads click 'Request History'


11. Click 'Push Updates' to Google Ads against your intended request.


12. Review the list of suggested optimisation outcomes.


13. Choose to Push Updates against individual campaign or Update Supported Campaigns across all campaigns.


14. Receive confirmation as a notification once the updates are applied in Google Ads.
